friends in camp

Clearing the arms of the personnels who are going to ORD for the past few day had got me thinking of their significance in my life in camp. Although I'm not exactly friend-friends with most of them, but I guess there is some feeling-feeling somehow. After all, I see them whenever they mount for duty.

For some people, our conversation might last for minutes, while for others it is only limited to "morning, your rifle no?" However little words exchanged, there is still a form of interaction. Smiles, that's a form of interaction ain't it?

Honestly, I'm feeling a little attached to these people even though I do not belong to any of the platoons. I'm thankful that some of these people came into my life and brightened my NSF experience. I do hope that our friendship will not only be confined within the base and that it will extend even when I ORD.
